Statement of Philosophy

Calvary Baptist Christian School is founded on the belief that all wisdom and knowledge comes from God. It is our belief that children need spiritual, physical, and academic development to become well-rounded individuals in the world God has created for them. We believe that each child is a gift from God to us, to be carefully nurtured in His Word. It is our intention to teach our students the Word of God as well as the necessary academic skills. Positions in our school are filled by individuals who are dedicated Christians, faithfully serving the Lord within their church.

Objective

1. Foster an atmosphere of academic excellence in a Christian context.

2. Be a ministry to the surrounding community.

3. Promote civic responsibilty, namely: Patriotism, democratic principles, and respect for authority.

4. Create a learning environment in which self-worth and self-expression are encouraged.

5. Work in harmony with parents in promoting Biblical ideals and values in their children.

6. Develop a Biblical perspective on life through a study of the Bible.

7. Provide an opportunity whereby children can utilize appropriate skills for life experiences.

8. Provide a role model for each individual child - exhibiting genuine concern, personal attention, guidance, and spiritual direction.

9. Work in harmony with all personnel to achieve these objectives

Age Requiremets
All Children enrolling in the 3 and 4 year old classes must be the appropriate age on or before September 30th. All children entering kindergarten must be 5 on or before September 30th. All children entering first grade must be 6 on or before September 30th.

            Payment Schedule
Registration= Due upon registration.
This includes all start up fees.
NOTE: Registration is NON-refundable
1st & last month's tuition= Due July 1
After July 20 add $30 late tuition fee
NOTE: No student may start school unless registration, technology fees, and 1st and last month's tuition payments are paid in full. Payments WILL NOT be accepted on the first day of school.

All new students are required to pass an entrance test that is given over the summer. Testing fees are $50.00 per family due at time of testing.  If your child does not pass the entrance test your registration fee will be refunded.  Testing fees are non-refundable.

Calvary Baptist Church Members- (non-staff)
one time $100 discount applied to your child's
first month of tuition.
Sibling discount- 10% applied on TUITION per
sibling for all immediate family members.
5% applied on full year's tuition paid in advance
by July 20, 2012.
